After having spent many years using ACAD, then Solid Edge and Solid Works all at great expense to my employers when the opportunity to produce work came up purchasing my own software seemed to be a difficult task.  After some research I came across Alibre Design.  This is the only CAD system I have come across that is so usable, yet affordable to a small Cad modeling and design service. Alibre has all of the features and functionality of Solid Works and Solid Edge at an affordable price. The parent company 3D Systems also has many other great products that cam be added in to make up a great set of 3D tools including many 3D printers from home to industrial strength.

Why would you need to spent the money required for Solid Works or Inventor when you can purchase this?. Even if I had the budget for other more expensive products, Geomagic Design would still be my first choice.
