This is a quick chess set I made for a competition. I got inspiration from a set I saw online so I need to stress that the design is not mine. It is not made to scale....or anywhere near it. It was modelled in Cinema4D R11.5. The competition is over so I decided to share the model. You will need to texture it yourself though as there are no textures or materials included. The OBJ, FBX and Collada files that contain the whole scene are extremely high poly as I converted them from Nurbs (subdivision surfaces) on the settings I used to render. I did include the 6 chess pieces and board in separate OBJs with lower subdivision but it would really be best if you could download the native (.c4d) file so you have a bit more control over these settings . ***IMPORTANT*** The zip file is not a Solidworks assembly. I had to name it that way for it to accept the zip file. It contains one folder with a .c4d file. This file contains the whole chess set ready to be textured and rendered. Hope you find some use for it. Other than claiming it as your own work, you may do what you like with it.
