Description
Digital inspection of fiber optic and copper connectors. Using a PC, Modified USB Microscope and 3D printing 'rotating adapters', the camera is able to see and record new dimensions of these connectors seen never before. Printing the "ball in socket" required exceptional detail. The 'rotating ball' enables views that are 20x - 100x more expansive that existing fiber optic microscopy. The significance is this concept exceeds existing standards which limit inspection surfaces. The instrument can capture both still and motion video for high-value characterization and training.
